A cake smash photoshoot is usually taken between ten to twelve months so you can use the photos as first birthday invitations.

FAQ
Are you vaccinated?
At McFarlane Photography, we are fully vaccinated (COVID and Whooping Cough) to ensure your little one is safe.
Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes, we are fully insured for public liability through QBE Insurance
How long is your cake smash session?
These photoshoots are usually 1–2-hour sessions because we want to capture your little ones precious moments.
Will your provide outfits for the expecting mum, newborn and cake smash session?
Yes, we have a wide range of dresses/robes/crop tops for the expecting mum to choose from and a few outfits for the newborn. We provide outfits for our cake smash sessions. If you would like to organise your own outfit please avoid big brand names or really bright colours.
Will you provide hair & make up for the maternity session?
Hair & make-up are not included. You will need to organise this before your session.
What happens if I lose my images?
We do not keep copies of your photos so we hold no responsibility if you lose or misplace your images. Please back up your images and make several copies in regards to this situation.
Can I cancel or reschedule my session?
If you need to reschedule your session due to illness, unforeseen circumstances, or weather, please notify us as soon as possible. We understand that things come up, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. All sessions can be rescheduled with adequate notice (7 days). However, please note that if you cancel the session entirely, the $100 non-refundable deposit will be forfeited.

Yes, you can now pay your session in 4 easy fortnightly payments.

- Your session is secured once the first payment is made.
